La City of Montreal Is one of the largest municipal organizations in Canada, with over 28,000 employees and managing a significant volume of construction and infrastructure projects across its territory. These projects involve numerous stakeholders: managers, project managers, field teams, subcontractors and external partners.
In such a vast and complex environment, the City had to deal with multiple processes, distributed teams, and a constant need for coordination. Construction project management required a structuring tool, capable of centralizing information, offering real-time visibility on the progress of work and supporting collaboration between all stakeholders, while respecting the requirements of an institutional framework.
After several months of collaboration, the City of Montreal now has a more structured and more fluid organization in the management of its construction projects. Centralizing data has improved project transparency, reduced operational friction, and facilitated coordination between the various stakeholders.
Teams are becoming more efficient, managers have a clearer vision to manage projects and make informed decisions, and the organization is now better equipped to manage large-scale projects while maintaining a high level of rigor and compliance.
